FPA 2026 IMPACT REPORT

Strong leaders build stronger organisations. Stronger organisations deliver better outcomes. That’s the theory of change we’ve built The For Purpose Alliance around — and this year, our members told us it’s working.

We just released our 2026 Impact Report, based on survey responses from 47 of our 60 Leadership HUB participants (a 78.3% response rate) – CEOs, Executive Directors and senior leaders from NFPs, charities and social enterprises across NSW and QLD.

The results, across 10 dimensions of leadership:

  • The Leader Within – 4.7/5
  • The Power of Peer Connection – 4.4/5
  • Collective Wisdom – 4.6/5
  • The Ripple Effect (Social Impact) – 4.2/5

The highest-rated dimension? “Re-set & Reflect” (4.8/5) – the space FPA gives leaders to step back from daily pressure and invest in their own growth.

But the numbers only tell half the story. Our leaders shared how FPA has helped them navigate genuine crossroads – from supporting struggling team members, to building the confidence to launch new strategies, to knowing when it’s time to walk away from a role that isn’t right. One leader told us they’re “I’m not sure I would still be leading in an NGO” without the support of their Hub.

Behind every stronger leader is a stronger organisation – and behind every stronger organisation, a community better served.

Monitoring program effectiveness:

FPA has a continual process of monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness – through both informal and formal evaluation and surveys:

  2. Program concept and design was peer reviewed through presentations to peak industry bodies and sector influencers including Centre for Social Impact; Philanthropy Australia; Social Ventures Australia; CCA and many more.
  3. Every Keynote is evaluated by our Members
  4. FPA Members are surveyed upon entry to the program and at intervals.
  5. Exit interviews and surveys are conducted.
  6. Testimonials are captured.
  7. Anecdotal feedback is sought at 1on1 sessions with FPA Chairs and Members.
