Yvette Annand

Yvette is passionate about supporting leaders and teams in the non-profit sector to find their inner strength and sense of purpose, improving wellbeing, fulfilment, and sustainable impact, irrespective of how their minds are wired.

As a social researcher, Yvette witnessed significant suffering while working across a diverse range of populations and communities, reporting to government departments including the Department of Health and Public Health England on behaviour change interventions designed to reduce harm and improve outcomes. Prompted by this work, in 2015 Yvette changed careers and trained in positive psychology coaching, mindfulness, becoming an accredited Strengths Profile practitioner and EQ assessor.

In 2018, she trained in the US as a Mindful Self-Compassion teacher and commenced a Master’s in Education at the University of Aberdeen, specialising in mindfulness and neuroscience. She is a highly experienced neuroaffirming coach, trained in 2019, holds Professional Certified Coach (PCC) status with the International Coaching Federation, and has completed counselling training with a focus on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and neuroaffirming practice, informed by her lived experience as a late-diagnosed ADHDer.

Yvette brings together this knowledge and experience with over 20 years of corporate and for-purpose leadership, where she experienced first-hand the challenges and joys of leading in complex, sometimes stressful and misaligned cultures.
